Develops a clear outline or map of adjudication requirements by insurance plan<br/> 
Develops a clear outline or map of eligibility and authorization requirements for covered/non-covered service or benefit<br/> 
Develops a database that identify exclusions whether or not a service or procedure is reimbursable or not and which are requiring pre-authorization in order to reduce claims denial for CCAD <br/>
Understands environment surrounding insurance current practices in the UAE, highlight risks and opportunities<br/> 
Assists in drafting payer contracts and support contract negotiations<br/> 
Develops self-pay pricing model for both local and international patients <br/>
Works closely with CDM analyst to ensure alignment of chargeable versus non-chargeable procedures, supplies, DRGs <br/>
Develops training content and materials to be provided to Patient Access, Billing and Physician staff to ensure compliance<br/>
Assists with other projects as needed<br/>
<p/>
<b>Experience:</b>
<p>
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive work experience in the area of contracting or analysis is preferred <br/>
Experience in healthcare preferred but not required <br/>
Knowledge of financial systems and reporting processes <br/>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills <br/>
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Word<br/>

Ensures proper maintenance of the CDM and related charge capture processes<br/>

Validates correctness of CCAD&#8217;s system CPT/HCPCS, ICD-9 or ICD-10 or any other healthcare codes and descriptions in place in the United Arab Emirates. <br/>

<b>Summary:</b>
<p> 
This position is responsible for applying and implementing medical technology to optimize health care delivery. This position is also responsible for technical product education and training for physicians and the evaluation of existing and/or new CCAD medical and clinical equipment to ensure controllable costs, patient and staff safety and compliance with appropriate guidelines and regulations. <br/>
<p/>
<b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b> 
<p>
&bull; Provides technical support to end-users (i.e., physicians, nurses or patients) on CCAD medical and clinical equipment <br/>
&bull; Repairs, calibrates and maintains group one and group two medical equipment and instrumentation used in the health care delivery field <br/>
&bull; Manages contract technicians performing maintenance and service calls for medical equipment<br/> 
&bull; Helps ensure patient safety to the maximum extent possible by adhering to all applicable regulations, standards and requirements related to clinical studies, patient confidentiality, etc. <br/>
&bull; Plans for the adoption, deployment, upgrade or integration of medical technologies and associated processes <br/>
&bull; Manages the implementation of new technology in alignment with various clinical services requirements <br/>
&bull; Facilitates the conduct of clinical trials by working with clinical investigators and CCAD clinical and regulatory personnel in a professional and ethical manner <br/>
&bull; Maintains current knowledge of competitive technologies in addition to medical, technical and biomedical developments related to CCAD products <br/>
&bull; Attends clinical cases and provides technical support on product programming and implementation techniques <br/>
&bull; Performs on-site training for physicians and other personnel that might interact with CCAD medical and clinical equipment <br/>
&bull; Provides detailed feedback for product improvement for existing products <br/>
&bull; Advises medical device producers regarding prospective design improvements based on clinical experiences <br/>
&bull; Supports other personnel with clinical engineering knowledge<br/>
<p/>
<b>Experience:</b>
<p>
&bull; Minimum of three to five (3-5) years experience in an information systems or clinical environment is required <br/>
&bull; Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on operational experience working in technology delivery is required <br/>
&bull; Knowledge of PC operating systems and desktop support is preferred <br/>
&bull; Knowledge of networking concepts of cortication is preferred <br/>
&bull; Experience with complex medical devices and equipment <br/>
&bull; Knowledge of organizational development, team management and technical, medical and financial subjects <br/>
&bull; Demonstrated skill in word processing, spreadsheet and PC applications <br/>
&bull; Strong oral and written communication skills <br/>
&bull; Ability to speak and write in English is required <br/>
&bull; Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred <br/>
&bull; Health care industry experience is preferred<br/>
