State codes and standards, local and State building codes and manufacturer’s specifications.

3. Maintains clean, orderly, safe work area. Uses proper warning signs and safety equipment to ensure the safety of others.

4. Monitors and reports abnormal operation of central energy plant equipment.

5. Uses proper hand or power tools to complete tasks.

6. Uses personal protective equipment when necessary. Washes hands with soap and water to control spreading of germs within the hospital.

7. Routinely picks up work orders in Plant Operations department, completes work orders in a timely manner.

8. Prioritizes work orders to ensure the safety and comfort of others.

9. Reports to Supervisor or Director any problems or items requiring follow up for the following shift.

10. Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner, takes appropriate action in emergency situations.
