Initiates studies and directs nursing staff in developing and conducting studies relevant to clinical research. Nursing research studies include but are not limited to: clinical nursing research involving outcomes of care (i.e., skin care or clinical trials); administrative research to measure issues related to recruitment and retention, and operational efficiency of care, program evaluation research to evaluate case management and other program initiatives. Serves as consultant to schools of nursing, nurse researchers, corporations and government agencies. Serves on thesis/dissertation committees, precepts graduate students. Publishes research results in referred journals. Presents papers, abstracts, posters at national and international conferences. Research publication history in peer-reviewed journals is needed. Other duties as assigned.<br/><br/>Education: Ph.D. in Nursing or related field (i.e., Sociology, Physiology), DNSc, or Ed.D. Must be qualified for faculty appointment with a collegiate school of nursing. Upon employment maintains faculty appointment. Publication experience related to research activity; may include paper presentation or publication.<br/><br/>Experience: Three years research experience including experience with experimental design, methodology and data analysis. Five years of clinical experience as a staff nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist or clinical faculty. Must have experience in extramural grant funding application. <b>Experience:</b>

Performs secretarial and administrative support of a complex and sensitive nature, functions as a liaison with inter and intra organizational units, outside organizations and individuals. Manages special functions, units or projects and programs for department and Radiologists. Performs duties while remaining sensitive to the cultural diversity of patients and visitors needs and concerns. Some of these duties are as follows:<br/><br/>PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br/><br/>1.                  Secretarial and administrative support of 15 (In July 2012) radiologists and assist in their requests<br/><br/>2.
