Job Details:

This position is responsible for the success of assigned functions within a complex distribution center environment throughout CCAD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages to ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas, efficient operations of warehouse management system(s) & related equipment, inventory is received appropriately, efficiently and safely processed in the warehouse, proper layout of warehouse and product placement, proper maintenance and organization of all warehouse areas
Assists the Director, Logistics and/or Senior Director, Supply Chain with the evaluation of the effectiveness of recommended alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product
Manages to ensure warehouse layout is optimally aligned for maximum efficiency as seasonality and inventory needs requirements
Assists the Director, Logistics and/or Senior Director, Supply Chain with the DC's financial, operational, people and process and service related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve
Depending on DC, assists in management of 3 PL providers to ensure optimal performance and metrics are achieved
Coaches, trains, and develops Associates informally and through formal training programs, providing both informal (e.g. on-floor coaching) and formal (e.g. written evaluation) job performance based feedback
Ensures a culture of safety throughout the organization by following Home Depot safety policies and procedures
Monitors DC safety, physical security and operational metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Depending on need, works with the Director, Logistics to manage relationship with 3 PL onsite delivery or transportation agent for all outbound loads, reviews transportation carrier performance with transportation staff
Executes the day to day operation which includes planning and organizing daily work direction for multiple departments, recap of previous day's performance, planning, problem solving, and supervising and developing direct reports

Experience:

Minimum of four to seven (4 - 7) years’ experience in a similar position is required
Process Improvement, Change Management and / or P&L Management is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company, improve current processes and implement changes.
Ability to provide excellent leadership and motivational skills

Ability to speak and write in English is required
Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
Health care industry / supply chain / warehousing experience are preferred

Education Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field is required
Master Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field is preferred
