Responsible for overseeing daily operations of Cardiac Rehabilitation and CHF Clinic Program at Medina Hospital, including direct supervision of staff in areas, maintaining budget, maintaining statistics and assuring policies and procedures are in compliance with CMS, JACHO and other regulatory standard requirements. Masters degree in Nursing. Current Ohio RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (CNP), current certification of authority by Ohio Board of Nursing, certificate to prescribe (CTP) preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider card through American Heart Association is required. Current ACLS card, or must obtain within first year of hire. Must obtain within 6 months to 1 year of hire; certification in Cardiac Vascular or Critical Care Nursing. Two years of current clinical experience in clinical nursing, previous experience with cardiac patients preferred.
