Job Details:

Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in the development and preparation of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Prepares, examines and analyzes accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
* Analyzes business operations to project future revenues and expenses
* Develops, maintains and analyzes budgets
* Analyzes accounts and reconciles supporting schedules
* Develops and documents recordkeeping and accounting systems
* Performs statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates and significant financial shifts/changes
* Determines the proper handling of financial transactions
* Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
* Prepares ad hoc reports as requested

Experience:

* Minimum of two (2) years experience in a financial or accounting environment/role is required
* Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, procedures and analytical methodologies sufficient to generate financial reports
* Experience and proficiency in the use of PCs, spreadsheets and other business graphics software
* Strong technical and analytical skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to speak and write in English is required
* Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
* Health care industry experience is preferred
* CPA or Chartered Accountant License required

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field, is required

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

* Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, extensive sitting, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD and lift up to 30 lbs.
