Summary:

Reporting to the SBD Director, the Analyst receives daily direction from an assigned SBD Manager. The Analyst works seamlessly with the Business Research & Development (BRAD) Manager, Strategic Planning (SP) Manger, and Strategic Project Management (SPM) Manger to provide integrated strategic services to advance the vision and mission of the organization. All Analysts in the SBD Department are cross-trained to support each Division as needed. Analysts collaborate effectively with staff from other Institutes / Departments to complete assigned work. Primary responsibilities for Analysts include providing analytical and administrative support to SBD Managers, provide content / subject matter knowledge in supporting assigned projects, contribute to deliverables, provide meeting documentation, and contribute to meeting facilitation. Analysts are highly proficient in producing professional deliverables in the following software programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive solutions to effectively plan and implement strategic initiatives utilizing project management best practices, tools, and technology
* Actively lead strategic projects as assigned by the executive team through the strategic planning process
* Oversee third party consultants hired to assist with strategic initiatives
* Serve as the organization’s subject matter experts on program / project management and performance improvement methodologies
* Conduct and facilitate organizational training / workshops related to program / project management and performance improvement as needed to implement strategic initiatives

Experience:

* 0-5 years of healthcare experience which may include 2 years of healthcare fellowships in complex healthcare organizations (e.g., academic medical centers)
* 2 years of healthcare experience preferred
* Strong understanding of healthcare strategy, business research, and project management best practices

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree required

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

* Typical physical demands include a moderate degree of dexterity to produce materials on a computer and mobility sufficient to attend meetings in clinical departments throughout CCAD. This position requires normal or corrected vision and hearing and the ability to verbally communicate with employees and patients. This position must be available after hours for support.
