Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining CCAD’s financial systems and applications and assisting on financial projects geared toward process and performance improvement.
* Oversees the design, development and efficient operation of finance information systems and services
* Supports finance project assignments and small system implementation
* Communicates with system vendors to ensure maximum use of systems to their fullest capacity
* Supports the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes and identifies efficiency and quality improvements to current processes
* Collaborates with IT personnel to ensure reliable and responsive financial systems
* Maintains documentation on key systems and processes
* Implements appropriate controls and procedures to ensure accuracy in decision support/information reporting processes
* Maintains effective reporting structures for budget, cost accounting and decision support systems
* Recommends solutions, both automated and manual, to enhance system functionality
* Minimum of five (5) years experience in finance or accounting areas, or information systems, is required
* Knowledge of financial management, computer operations and PC utilization
* Strong technical and business acumen with proven interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to speak and write in English is required
* Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
* Health care industry experience is preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science, or related field, is required
* Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science, or related field, is preferred
* Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, extensive sitting, must occasionally work off hours to meet implementation or support schedules, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD and lift up to 30 lbs.
