This is a two year contract position.
This position is responsible for leading the analysis, development and implementation of strategic Supply Chain initiatives within CCAD. This position is also responsible for product and service analysis in conjunction with the strategic sourcing or material management process.
* Provide tactical Supply Chain Management techniques to ensure expectations are met relative to delivery, quality, cost and inventory targets
* Manages contracts from negotiation to execution and ensures that contract terms and conditions are maintained throughout the life of the contract
* Initiates requests for quotations and reviews incoming bids for best price, availability of stock, price protection, consignment, etc.
* Prepares bids and/or comparisons of existing contracts to determine the best outcome for CCAD
* Develop and manage material forecasting and safety stock analysis, conduct review meetings, analyze and control inventory levels to optimize service levels, process mapping and documentation
* Develop and manage Supplier relationships to assure high quality, cost effective and timely supply of required materials and services by closely monitoring Supplier performance and initiating changes when required
* Manage the assigned suppliers to ensure CCAD receives material that meets quality requirements and delivery expectations
* Monitor and report on inventory turnover and shrinkage (e.g. obsolescence, scrap, returned goods) and develop a methodology to ensure CCAD optimizes inventory and maintains flexibility in the Supply Chain
* Work directly with the all personnel in the CCAD Supply Chain Management department and all other pertinent CCAD departments to coordinate activities from Suppliers including contract negotiations, material flow and cost savings opportunities
* Update the ERP System to adjust inventory levels to meet demand, including reorder points, reorder quantities, safety stock and lead time/transportation time to CCAD
* Evaluates and executes flow decisions and changes to support Supply Chain efficiency
* Meets with sales representatives to evaluate new products or services available
* Implements supplier changes and ensures seamless transition of sourcing changes
* Monitors, manages and executes resolution plans for complex Supply Chain issues
* Minimum of five (5) years experience in materials forecasting, planning, inventory control, purchasing and sourcing is within health care field is required
* Knowledge and understanding of purchasing, supply chain and inventory principles
* Demonstrated strong financial analysis skills
* Knowledge of PC programs and spreadsheets
* ERP system experience/knowledge is required
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to speak and write in English is required
* Ability to speak and write in Arabic is preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Finance, or related field, is required
* Professional certification preferred
* Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, extensive sitting, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD and lift up to 30 lbs.
