GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Associate Director is ultimately responsible for growing executive education sales revenues by building a pipeline of highly customized, intimate programs for specific audiences in non-degree executive education.
Strategic responsibilities include developing market intelligence, addressing competitive providers, benchmarking, preparing and implementing the annual executive education plan, and conducting site visits to major clients. The Associate Director is also responsible for marketing strategy, including development of marketing materials, advertisements, and the executive education web site. In conjunction with the Director, the Associate Director will work with the Education Institute’s leadership team.
Operational responsibilities include proposal development, prospecting, and managing client relations, program marketing, and managing the evaluation and follow up reports on each program, so as to meet cost and revenue budgets and goals. The Associate Director will also create and manage a plan to attract, work with, develop, and assess the performance of Academy faculty and outside providers responsible for delivering a marketable selection of executive education courses and services. As the Academy grows, the Associate Director will acquire management responsibility for support staff and faculty.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Knowledge, and Skills
1.
Master's degree required.
2.
Knowledge of executive education, global business development, curriculum, and international cultures. Skilled relationship builder, program developer, high level of proficiency in technology (web, database and Microsoft application), faculty liaison, and entrepreneur.
3.
Able to problem solve, capitalize on business opportunities, and travel.
4.
Overall, strong business and financial acumen, strategic thinking, proven business development and relationship marketing skills, knowledge of adult learning practices, program assessment, and consultative selling and negotiating skills are critical to success in the role.
5.
Oversee all Leadership Academy operations, curriculum and staff. Strong candidates will possess outstanding abilities to communicate with senior executives and decision-makers both in person and in writing; to work within a team environment, particularly with faculty; and to have high energy, enthusiasm, and creativity;
REQUIRED LENGTH AND TYPE OF EXPERIENCE:

5 years developing and administering executive programs including managing the logistics of event planning.
