Job Details:
JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises the technical and administrative functions. Acts as a technical resource for team members. Collaborates to achieve the organizational goals. Implements goals consistent with assigned clinical and nonclinical units.
Job Responsibilities:
* Supervises employees in daily operations.
* Maintains staffing levels, approves and schedules paid time off and leave requests.
* Provides leadership and training. Coordinates and provides orientation, education and training.
* Ensures cross coverage. Develops effective work team.
* Proactively identifies opportunities to improve procedures and processes.
* Encourages and supports morale building activities and positive attitudes.
* Communicates with employees and provides orientation on policies.
* Analyzes workflow and procedures. Identifies and implements opportunities to improve speed, quality and effectiveness.
* Leads and implements large process improvement projects.
* Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Minimum four years supervisory experience in large health care organization required.
* Master's Degree may substitute for two years of experience.
* Advanced Knowledge of supervision, training/development, public relations and project management practices preferred
* Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills required. Additional experience may offset degree requirement.
* Must have installation and prior experience completing technical installation of A/V Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Four years experience as a Lead Media Technician to include the following:
* Audiovisual Design
* Proven ability to install A/V Systems, equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of A/V systems
* Knowledgeable of Creston and Extron control Systems
* Ability to set maintenance standards and forecast the life cycle of A/V Equipment
* Project Experience- Budget projection and estimating timelines for A/V projects
* Ability to interact with Administrative Staff and Vendors
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
* None
Physical Requirements:
* Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
* Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds.
* Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
* Requires dexterity sufficient to operate computer.
* Requires the ability to operate various types of powered material handling equipment.
