Summary: This position will manage the quality data program for the Breast Center including monitoring, analysis and reporting metrics required for maintaining accreditation and for our Outcomes Book reporting, as well as managing clinical quality improvement projects. Position will work closely with the DDI clinical database group and will manage access to data for quality and research purposes. Manages implementation and maintenance of designates programs and systems. Plans, develops, implements and maintains systems and procedures. Liaison between department and outside communities. Selects, trains and supervises personnel. Manages direct report budget and assists with budget process.
Job Responsibilities: Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational activities and operational systems. Evaluates outcomes and identifies opportunities to improve organizational results. Serves as liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. Allocates time to meet completion requirements. Selects, trains and supervises administrative personnel. Manages daily staffing and activities. Reviews and monitors adherence to HR policies and corporate compliance procedures. Performs other duties as assigned
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. Advanced knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development.
Experience: Minimum five years of experience in systems training, project management and data analysis in a health care setting preferred. Master's Degree may substitute for year of experience. Demonstrated leadership, team, organizational and problem solving skills. Strong communication and supervisory skills required.
Preferred Qualifications: computer efficiency, spreadsheet and data management skills are essential. Medical knowledge necessary and clinical background is a plus. Must have ability to work closely with IT staff and multiple physician stakeholders. Organizational skills are essential.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.
Physical Requirements: Requires dexterity to operate office equipment and the ability to walk to parts of various hospital campuses to attend meetings. Must have normal or corrected vision, and the ability to verbally communicate to upper level management. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
