This position is covering the Northwest Territory - California / Colorado - (Denver/San Francisco area). Applicant must reside in geographic area.
Summary: Generates new business and develops existing accounts.
Job Responsibilities: Communicates with administrator and all other appropriate individuals regarding customer requests, concerns and issues. Provides feedback and information to Division administration, managers and supervisors regarding updates to the marketing mission. Develops and maintains a high level of understanding of the product lines and able to present these in context to the client need. Plans calls, develops and implements action plans to increase customer base, volume and market presence. Follows up, supports and acts on any potential new business. Cold calls prospective new business customers on a regular basis. Interfaces with departments on a routine basis and provides pertinent information to ensure a successful marketing program. Provides customer service assistance to managers and supervisors. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare or equivalent and 3-5 years in comparable job in healthcare sales required.
Experience: Minimum three years in a laboratory or healthcare environment with demonstrated success in sales, marketing or customer service required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.
Physical Requirements: Travel is required. Must have a valid driver's license with four or fewer points and be able to drive.
