Shift/Schedule: Part-Time Position. Primarily: 2nd Shift - 3(8s) per week. 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Including weekend and/or holiday rotation.

Summary:
Under the supervision of an RN performs basic patient care activities. Assists with skills specifically identified on skills checklists for which training and competency has been established. These may include but not limited to vital signs, weights, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living and patient transfers/transports. Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to RN. Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly. Maintains personal growth and development through the ongoing process of formal and informal education. Demonstrates a positive, concerned and sensitive response in the workplace. Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written instructions. Good interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff. Ability to perform basic mathematics. High School Diploma or GED. State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred. Demonstrates proficiency in applied mathematics and reading comprehension at an 8th grade level. Successful completion of BLS within new hire period.
