Job Details:
The Clinical Educator exemplifies professional clinical practice. The position will support the Intensive Care unit. He/she functions autonomously and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals as an educator, coordinator, consultant and researcher. The Clinical Educator is responsible for coordinating, teaching, and evaluating educational needs of the staff with a particular focus on patient education. The Clinical Educator will be involved in the training of staff in clinically related areas, including advanced stroke management, emergency hospital preparedness, among other topics as designated. The Clinical Educator will collaborate with the other educators/ team members in delivering the course content to the employees.
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Nursing required. 2-5 years experience in Critical Care and / or Emergency Nursing. BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider card. ACLS Instructor, BLS Instructor, PALS instructor preferred”. – This is preferable.
