Job Details:
This position serves to meet the organizational needs for quality laboratory testing and result reporting. The medical technologist is proficient in waived, moderate, and high complexity testing of patient samples. The technologist ensures that results are reported in compliance with the goals and standards of the department, Cleveland Clinic Florida, and the applicable accrediting organizations. (AHCA, CLIA, CAP, & JCAHO). Requirements: B.S. in medical technology, physical or biological science or equivalent. One year clinical experience preferred. Current State of FL license required at the technologist levels. A minimum of three areas in licensing and ASCP licensing preferred.
